This and that...

So here's what I've been up to these past few weeks:

First, Mommy and Daddy tried to take cute Christmas pictures for the card this year, but I wouldn't cooperate. Now that I'm mobile, I don't like to sit still (even for the camera) unless someone is holding me. So Mommy had the idea to get me while I was down:

Here I am "Waiting for Santa..."

Next, I had a Christmas program at my school. Mommy wondered what a 10 month old does at a Christmas program, but they paraded us out and introduced us to the audience. The other babies cried, but not me. I LOVED it when all of the parents clapped for me!

This weekend we went to Daddy's family Christmas. I had fun hanging out with my cousin, Gaven. And I got a cool Dallas Cowboys golf set!

Daddy also took me to the golf course this weekend. Since there was no one else on the practice putting green, Daddy let me help him.

I'm a natural!

I hope you all have a great Christmas. I will be sure to post about all the fun times I have over the holidays! ~Miles

Turkey Day

Last week was my first Thanksgiving. It was pretty fun. We went to see Mimi and Pepaw where I used to live in East Texas. Mommy was bummed because Thanksgiving didn't fall on a First Monday weekend this year, but I was excited because I don't have a whole lot of fun when she drags me around that place anyway!

Here are some pictures from the day:

Here I am playing with some of my cousins. See how well I pull up on the table and steal their toys?

Here's me and Daddy getting ready to play on the bouncy slide. We had a bouncy slide AND a bouncy house. It was super fun! Check out my awesome Baylor Bears hat!

Mommy was the brave one who actually rode down the slide with me. We are the thrill seekers in the family!

Bring on the food!

Aunt Melissa was holding me a little close to the pies so I decided to take a swipe!

And of course, we had a great weekend watching Texas A&M stomp all over UT! In my whole life, I have never seen the Aggies lose to Texas, isn't that sweet? :-)

Trick-or-Treat

I know you've all been waiting to see what this handsome little devil would be for Halloween. Well, wait no more!

For my first Halloween, I was a sweet little devil, he he he.

I had a blast handing out candy to the gazillion kids in my neighborhood! Here are some pictures and video from the day!

Here's me and Mommy!

Pulling up on the couch.

Where I stash all my candy!

I'm dedicated

This was a big week folks. I was visiting Mimi and Peepaw in East Texas for the week AND I got to hang out in chambers all day Friday! Mommy had to go to Tyler for a mediation so Grandmaw Lorie, Grandmaw Rosa, Grandmaw Shea, Aunt Andrea and My favorite Chambers Grandpaw, Judge, watched me. I missed them so much, so I had a blast.

If that wasn't enough, today I got dedicated. I'm not entirely sure what that means, but almost everyone I'm related to came to my church today to watch it. Mommy says she will explain it all to me when I get just a little older. It was a pretty special day because it was a "cousins dedication." Me and my cousin, Haley, were dedicated and so was Haley's cousin, Will. Mommy and Haley's daddy are siblings and Haley's mommy and Will's mommy are siblings. Got all that?

Here are some pictures from the day:

And this is one very brave Pastor Phil holding all three babies while we prayed!

Lil' pumkin

Well blog fans, sorry for my absence. It's not that I've been ignoring you. I have been dictating blog entries for Mommy regularly, but now she's working at the big firm and she's pretty busy so she is behind! I told her that was unacceptable and she promised to try harder to get to the blog assignments I leave for her. I guess I'll cut her some slack. Below are a few entries from these last two weeks.

So, I'm getting ready for my first Halloween. No you're not going to get a sneak peek at my costume- it's a SURPRISE!!! But here I am in my halloween pj's.

And yes, those are three teeth on bottom. I had zero teeth just a month ago and now I have three on bottom and two poking thru on top! Crazy! Steak here I come!

Here's a video of me showing off my walker skills. I can now make a full loop around the first floor of the house. I'm so mobile. I love it!

Last swim of the summer

We went down to Granny and Pop's and I went swimming. I love the water.

Here I am chillin' in the float Granny bought me.

Mommy's already helping me practice kicking and my "reach and pull"

I got lots of doggie kisses. I swear Justice is not trying to eat me, she just wants a little smooch!

We had a great time! ~Miles

Just checkin' in

Hi blog fans. I just wanted to pop in and give you an update. Things are good in the new casa. Mommy started work two weeks ago and she seems to like it. She says it is very busy, but lots of fun. Some days I am asleep when she leaves and asleep again when she gets home, but we spend lots of time together as often as we can. Daddy is doing a GREAT job of holding down the fort and playing Mr. Mom until my daycare opens. We're having lots of fun "man" time. He takes me to the golf course so I can watch and learn. Here's a random photo from bath time--still my favorite time of day! ~Miles

Best friends reunited

We flew back from Denver today. I had a great trip. I got to visit my best bud, Landon, and Mommy got to visit her bff, Jessica. Jessica and Joey live on campus at the University of Denver, so we got to stay on campus and I flirted with all of the college girls!

When we got to the airport, Joey and Landon picked us up. I rode in Landon's old car seat and Landon rode in his new big boy car seat. It was awesome because we faced each other and we could talk the whole way to UD.

Once we got to Landon's pad, we played and had a snack.

Here we are having bath time. I still need to use a little chair thing, but Landon's a big boy and he stands up in the bath and has a blast!

After bathtime we chilled. Landon's so cool...he already walks and everything. I can't wait until I'm a year old like him and I can walk!

The next day we went to the Denver zoo. We had a blast!

Here's me, Mommy and Daddy with the giraffes.

I really wanted to play with all of the animals.

Aww...Daddy!

Landon and I had all kinds of fun together!

I was sad to go....

But hopefully Landon will come visit with me soon and I can share all of my toys with him. That was my trip to Denver! ~Miles

Peek-a-boo...now that's a game!

Mommy plays peek-a-boo with me all the time and I just had to show you all how much fun it is! I don't know where exactly she goes when she disappears, but just when I think she's gone forever-BAM-she pops right up again. What a game!

I'm leaving on my flight to Denver tomorrow. Hopefully there will be a lot of cute flight attendants for me to flirt with. They dig my chubby cheeks!

I'm baack...

Greetings blog fans!

First let me say, thanks for your patience...Mommy and Daddy have been dragging me here and there and I've been supervising their unpacking (trust me, they needed my help). We are settled in the new casa and I love it! I promise to be a regular blogger once again (although, we are traveling to Denver this week to visit my best bud, Landon--check out his blog on the right: the ultimate baby blog--so I may not post from Denver.)

Lots has been going on lately. First of all: Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a tooth (make that TWO teeth!) After months of Mommy calling me her gummy bear, I finally decided it was time to get these teeth out already. I waited 7 months to get these teeth, but I'm making up for lost time because the first two are coming up together. Yay-steak here I come!

We just dropped down to Victoria for a quick trip. It sure is nice to be so close to Granny and Pop. Here are some pictures from the trip:

Here I am with Aunt Emily. I love her. I spit up all over her new jeans and she didn't care at all!

Pop totally gets my need for the adrenaline rush that only comes from being tossed in the air. I'm such a thrill seeker!

Here I am entertaining Mammaw and Aunt Patsy. They like my chubby cheeks!

I LOVE Granny! She's the best. She woke up with me all night so Mommy could get some sleep. At 4:30 I was WIDE awake and I was so happy she was there to play with me!

Here I am with Uncle Roland. I kept reaching out for him because he he talks like a duck for me and that really makes me laugh!

And here's me with Aunt Monica. We chilled outside. I love it outside, there's so much to look at.

Check out my cool Cowboys gear (it has chocolate cake on it because Pop thought I needed chocolate cake). Daddy and I had our game-day gear on for the Sunday game. My cousin, Jerheme, played for the Cowboys during the preseason, but now he plays for the Arizona Cardinals. But I'm still a cowboys fan like Daddy (and now I'm a Cardinals fan too-GO JERHEME!!!)

I think you're pretty caught up now! I'll try to post reguarly from now on. We have superfast internet now so I can upload pictures and videos in no time. Stay tuned!
