Maddox Can't Stay In There Much Longer

So Mommy is 36 weeks pregnant. I don't know exactly what that means, but I know it means Maddox is going to be here soon. I think Mommy is really ready to see her feet again too.

Look here's our first picture with Maddox. :)

This one is pretty cute too huh?
We can't wait to meet you little buddy!

Look Alive, I Turned FIVE!!!

2/6/07 is a great day for me. It's my birthday. Mommy said she cannot believe that I am 5. I can. I'm such a big boy. And I'm about to have a third little brother. Can you believe that??? Mommy says I am a GREAT big brother. :) So back to turning five...

This year, my party was at the Discovery Science Place. It's awesome. Mommy asked me if I wanted to have a theme for my party. Naturally, I said I wanted a superhero theme. I'm all about Spider-man right now. So check out my invitation!

So we got all set for a serious superhero party.

I wore my costume, but I wasn't sure if my friends would want to dress up. As you can see from Batgirl behind me--they DID!!!

Look it's the green lantern!

And a certain Superman made an appearance.

The Discovery Science Place was full of superheroes! It was so fun.

My pals.

Granny and Mason.

Time to blow out the candles on my Spider-man cake. (We also had Ben 10 cupcakes, which were a big hit).

My friends.

Happy Birthday to me! What a fun party. :)

Christmas 2011 (Yes, I'm behind!)

We have had a busy month (and spotty internet) this month. Somehow all of January went by and I did not post once! Let me catch you up on things folks.

First we had Christmas with Mimi and Pepaw. Look at ALL my cousins! I'm a lucky kid.

Then it was time to open presents. Maxer was trying to be patient. That's hard for a 3 year old on Christmas!

Oh how the patience paid off.

Even Mason was excited about presents this year.

We got some really cool Imaginext dinosaurs. The next day (Christmas Eve), we headed to South Texas for Christmas.

We were so excited to see Granny and Pop.

Uncle Jason and Aunt Emily are having their first baby. So when we got there, they came over and let Granny open up a big present to tell us whether it was a girl baby or a boy baby. We helped her open it...

and out came PINK balloons! Yay! We are so excited for a girl baby.

Payton LeeAnn will join us this May.

Then we opened some presents from Uncle Justin and Aunt Emily, Uncle Jason and Aunt Fallon, Granny and Pop.

Are you seeing a theme here? We were SO excited about our Imaginext loot.

And we got some fun play costumes. :)

After our family Christmas, it was time for Mammaw's Christmas. This is Mommy's Grandma (Granny's Mommy). It was a good time. Mommy's cousin, Molly, took some fun pictures of us.

little man.

The grown ups do a Christmas exchange where they can steal presents. I think one of the grown ups sent Max in to do their dirty work. It's hard to say no to that face.

Mason made an early exit to bed.

After the crowd left from Mammaw's Christmas, it was time to get ready for Santa!!! When we saw him a few weeks ago, he asked if we could leave apples and carrots for his reindeer. So first, we put out his plate with cookies, carrots and an apple. The apple looked so good that I asked for a bite. So did Max. We had a few bites.

This is what our plate looked like after we "shared" the apple with the reindeer.

Then, we hung Santa's magic key. It only works for Santa. Granny and Pop don't have a chimney so Santa uses his magic key to come in and leave our presents. And after reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and the birth story of Jesus, we were off to bed to see what Christmas morning held.

We woke up EARLY!!! And...Santa came!!!

We inspected the plate. He and the reindeer ate every bite! (you know, the bites we left for them).

We must have been really good boys. We got some awesome presents.

I asked EVERYONE for the "new" Batman castle. Santa did not disappoint.

We even got a Wii! I was super excited about this.

Handy Mason.

Don't we make a cute group?

Here I am playing a game and drinking an icee (at about 9am). Life is good.

Pop and Mason.

Here we are learning how to play Mario Kart.

We had a great Christmas. It was fun to see family, celebrate Baby Jesus, and open presents. What a great way to close 2011!
