Sic 'Em Bears!!!

Mommy and Daddy took me to see the Lady Bears because they were in Houston on Sunday. Mommy made us sit way up in the bleachers so we would not be near any people (because she did not want Max in the crowd). Luckily, it was not too crowded, and I liked being up high. We had a great time. I liked the band more than the game. Max slept through the whole thing!

Here's the view from the top!

Hitting the links...

We took advantage of the 80 degree windless weather and took Max out to our golf course. He slept through the whole thing, but it was great to get outside and capture his first golf cart ride!

First Two Weeks As A Big Bro

So the last two weeks have been interesting. Apparently Max is here to stay so I'm adjusting to being a big brother. I love Max and give him lots of kisses, but I also let him know that things are mine and he can only play with them if I let him. You have to set boundaries early...that's what Mommy and Daddy say! ;-)

Here I am sharing my favorite blocks with Max:

And here I am breaking in Max's chair. I just had to make a few phone calls.

While Granny was here helping with Max, we cuddled on the couch and watched my cousin Jerheme play football. Jer plays for the Arizona Cardinals as a wide receiver. He gave me this red Cardinals teddy bear and I am very attached to it.

Here's Max showing off his premie clothes. He's getting bigger, but the newborn stuff still does not fit!

We play together well. He chills in his bouncer and I give lots of kisses!

Isn't he cute?

Back away from my baby brother or I will attack!

Kisses!

Max is here...

My baby brother Max was an election day baby! He came quick and easy for Mommy...only 6 hours from the start of labor until his arrival and only a few pushes. He's handsome...he looks like me!!! Max was born on 11/4/08 at 10:10 p.m. He weighed 6 lbs, 15 oz and is 20 inches long. He's a healthy little guy. I got to go see him today. I gave him a kiss and tried to feed him my cracker!

Trick-or-Treat

So yesterday was my second Halloween, but really the first one I remember. Mommy and Daddy were not sure I was going to wear my costume because I was kind of scared of it at first, but now I love it. I went as a gorilla. But I cannot say gorilla so I said was a monkey!!! I had a lot of fun at my party at school and my party at church. Here are some pictures from my day...

Here I am putting on my costume for school. We had a Halloween party at my school. It was very fun.

And here I am in full costume!!! Aren't I cute?

Here I am getting back in my costume for the party at church. Now this was a party! There were LOTS of games and I won candy at every game!

First we ate dinner at the church:

Then I hung out with friends.

Next it was time for games!!! This is the pumpkin bounce where I jumped on each pumpkin.

And when I was done...I got candy!!! I don't really eat much candy so Mommy and Daddy helped me pick out the "good stuff"

The next game was "bean the giant" where I threw bean bags at Goliath the giant. Most kids had to stand behind this line, but I got to move up because I'm so cute.

Next was the duck pond. I had to find a duck with a happy face on it.

I found one and got more candy, but I really wanted to keep the duck!

Then we went to a room filled with balloons and I got to pick one out. I picked out the purple one because purple is my favorite color right now!

This game is the animal races. It was my favorite game because I got to pick a blow up animal to carry. I chose the giraffe.

Then they rolled the dice and every time they rolled a 2 I got to move up. They rolled lots of 2's and I WON the game!!!

Then I got more candy!

And it was on to the ghost bean bag toss...

And the football toss...I really liked the throwing games!

I had a great time at my church party. Then we went home and I trick-or-treated on my street. I said "trick-treat" and I really liked it when they let me get my own candy from the bowl. Then we passed out candy at our house. Some of the costumes (like Darth Vador) scared me a little, but it was still cool. Overall, Halloween is pretty fun! I can't wait to show Max how to do it next year!
