Maxer's THREE!!!

November 4 was Maxer's third birthday. In our family, you do not get to have "friend" parties until you turn 3 because we have such a big family that the party is big enough with just cousins you know? So this was Max's first "friend" birthday party. And boy was it fun!

On Max's actual birthday, he got to pick dinner (pizza) and ate on his special birthday plate.

We also had a little family Thomas cake.

I think he likes it!

Mommy worked hard to make sure Max's first friend party was tons of fun. These next few pictures are just of the food, etc. So feel free to skip ahead to the fun!

Food and drink labels.

Mmmmm cupcakes!

Here we are in our cowboy gear at the Wits End Ranch. The vest Max has on was Daddy's when he was a kid.

Family pic (Maxer and I were a bit distracted, we wanted to go play!)

Mason's not too sure about this guy.

Daddy and Mason.

How cute is this shirt?

Time to feed the goats.

Next it was the big zip line. I do NOT ride this. Maxer usually does.

Maxer and Daddy talking about the zip line.

Mason and his future wife, Nellie Grace, on the swings. Mommy said this was their first chaperoned date. :)

Eager zip liners.

Max eased into the zip line with this smaller one.

He's hollaring "Yee Haw!"

Daddy checking out the harness.

Here he goes...

Woohoo!

Then we all went on a hay ride.

I got to sit next to Mommy :)

Time for turlte races.

Max got to start each race.

Holding "arrow" the turtle for the next race.

"Happy Birthday to Max"

Mmmmm....cupcakes!

Opening presents (sorry for the bad pic, it was kind of crazy during this time.).

Max got on the mic and said "thank you" to all of his friends for coming to his birthday party.
