Yo Yo Yo, I'm a Big Bro (again)!

So Maddox finally decided to make his appearance. He definitely came on his own time and in his own way. First, he came ON his due date. Mommy says we were all weeks early. Second, Mommy's water broke on its own and at home (I have no idea what this means, but apparently it is significant). So here are some pics and his official stats:

Maddox William Mitchell
March 6, 2012
7:49 a.m.
8 lbs, 8 oz, 21 1/2 inches long

Here's Mommy at the hospital. Come on Maddox. We are so ready to meet you!

Big boy. Maddox beat the Mitchell Men record (previously held by me at 7.7) by a full pound.

Whew, being born is hard work!

Maddox had lots of visitors. His fan club is almost as big as mine.

We visited him too.

Here is Maddox showing off his "Baby Brother" onesie.

He's a cutie!

I'm a pro at this big brother business.

Maxer is pretty seasoned at this point too.

We both REALLY wanted to hold Maddox.

But first time big brother, Mason, wanted NOTHING to do with him. :) Mommy tried to get a picture of all four of us, but Mason was not having it! He only wanted Daddy. (Don't worry, he's coming around).

Here's a pic of the back of our shirts. We had our birth order numbers on the back (I was 1, Max was 2, etc) and it said "eeny, meeny, miney and mo". On the front, mine said "Biggest Brother Miles", Max's said "Bigger Brother Max", Mason's said "Big Brother Mason" and Maddox's said "Baby Brother Maddox" Mommy really liked them. :)

See? Total Daddy's boy.

Here's the back of Mason's shirt.

Just like all of us, Maddox showed early signs of jaundice. But he got on the lamps early and was the only one of us who didn't come home with a billi bed!

Headed home.

Some of our first visitors. Aunt Melissa.

Cayden

Austin (the oldest cousin and the youngest cousin)

Granny and Maddox

He spends a lot of time doing this. :)

But sometimes he is awake like this.

Here he is with Aunt Louise. They are 105 years apart!

Giving Uncle Toby kisses.

Maxer and I have been spending spring break with Granny and Pop in Victoria so we really haven't hung out with the little dude too much. Mommy and Daddy are so thankful that they can ease into life with four. But we are headed back tomorrow, so let the fun begin! :)
