"See Monkeys!!!"

Today was such a pretty day that Mommy and Daddy caved to my repeated requests to go "see monkeys" a/k/a go to the zoo. Here are some pictures from our day:

Me and Mommy with the elephant.

Sliding on the playground.

Hi!

This is a sea shell at the Gulf Coast area.

Cheese.

Chilling with Daddy and Max.

I was finally brave enough to climb in the prairie dog tunnel...with Daddy anyway.

After the zoo, we were tuckered out!!!

I hope you all enjoyed your day as much as me!

Under the knife...

So, on Tuesday, I had to have my tonsils out, my adenoids out, and tubes put in my ears. I had it done at Texas Children's in Houston. The hospital was really cool.

Here I am playing in the waiting room before surgery. I had to get to the hospital at 7:30 for my 9:30 surgery and couldn't have anything to eat or drink after midnight the night before. So I was in really good spirits considering I was hungry and thirsty!

The waiting room had tons of toys.

Changing into my hospital outfit.

More toys....

Here I am with Mommy just after surgery.

And here I am sleeping with Daddy in my room.

mmmm....jello!

Okay so I was still a little drugged!

I'm back home today and doing great! ~Miles

Happy Birthday dear Ashley...

I went to my first "friend" birthday party this week. My friend from school, Ashley, had an Elmo party at gymboree. Mommy and Daddy went with me. I had a great time jumping and running and playing with the bubbles.

I liked putting "ball net" like I do at home. Here's me and the birthday girl.

Climbing on a slide.

I really liked the music time.

And who doesn't love bubbles?

I even had the courage to climb through this big tube thing!

More music...

More bubbles...

I had a fun time at gymboree. ~Miles

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo!

Like most almost two year olds...I'm a huge fan of "choo choo" a/k/a Thomas. All I ever want to do at Granny's is play on her train table. Mommy and Daddy were going to buy me a train table for my birthday, but Granny let me borrow hers until I outgrow choo choos. So, I got it today and I've been playing with it ever since!!! Thanks Granny!

Here are some pictures of me playing with "my" choo choos!

Zoo trip!

Today we went to the Houston Zoo. I love the zoo. This was Max's first trip. We had a great visit.

This is Max's Elvis smile. He was excited about our zoo trip!

Before we went into the zoo, we rode the "choo choo" outside the zoo.

Here we go!!!

Here I am holding Mommy's hand at the zoo.

Sic 'em bears!!!

I have a pretty good "roar"

This was Max's first time to ride in the Baby Bjorn facing front. He liked it a lot!

Mommy and her boys.

There was a tunnel in the piranha tank. I was a little weary at first.

But I got in with Daddy.

Then I got in with Mommy.

Then I wouldn't get out!

Max had a big day. He crashed.

And of course, I found a bunch of sticks and leaves. I am all boy!

We had a nice time at the zoo.

Concert for you

I have a new drum set that I love. And Daddy has me hooked on country music videos. My favorite is currently "Country Man." So when Granny called today, I decided to show her how I play and sing to Country Man." Mommy got it with her little video camera, but it's 2 clips because the camera takes 1 minute clips. Check it out!

They'll be playing this on YouTube when I am a famous country music singer ha ha!

Sick Little Man

Well folks, Max is sick. He has bronchiolitis and a double ear infection. I was worried he was going to have to be in the hospital for a while there, but I think he's pulling through. We have had to take him to the doctor every day for rechecks and steroid shots. We go back tomorrow, and I think he's doing much better. He has to do breathing treatments every 2-3 hours. I sometimes have to do breathing treatments for my allergies, so I talk to him and tell him it's okay.

Here he is having a treatment. Poor little guy!

But overall, he's in good spirits.

Just wanted to keep you updated on my little bro!
