The Summer of POC

Since Mommy has been on maternity leave this summer, we have been able to spend a lot of time in Port O'Connor with Granny and Pop. I love the "beach house." So this weekend we headed back there.

We get icee's when we stay with Granny!

I love her!

Max always finds the dirt.

I'm still sporting the shiner courtesy of my little bro.

But a black eye won't slow me down!

One of my favorite things to do in POC is feed the porpoises and pelicans while Daddy and Pop clean fish!

Look they come take it out of your hand!

Porpoises

I like to throw it and let the pelicans catch it in the air.

Cool pelican perched on a boat.

Cheese!

Look at that BIG red fish!

Riding on the boat with Daddy back to the beach house.

We love Pop!

And we are pretty fond of Granny too! ;)

Mason was just taking it all in.

Max the thrill seeker asking Pop to throw him.

Here we are eating at Clark's right on the water.

Maxer.

Daddy's fish.

Pop's fish

Mommy and the pretty sunset.

Good trip to POC. What a fun summer! I can't wait to go back!

Last Trip To Moody Gardens For The Summer

We squeezed in one more trip to Moody Gardens for the summer before we move. I know we won't be as close next summer, but I hope we get to come back. I really like this place!

Here we are in the aquarium with Mommy. This was the first time Mason rode forward facing in the baby Bjorn. He liked looking around at everything.

The touch tank. Very fun.

Ready to go exploring some more.

The Rain-forest Pyramid had a fun music display.

Of course Max loved the music.

Shiner

Sometimes you're just trying to play "hide under the covers" from your brother and you take a forehead to the cheek. Thanks Max for my first shiner!

Around The House

We are back from San Antonio and enjoying Mommy's last few weeks of maternity leave.

Look who's becoming a smiley boy?

Max and I decided to help Mommy with the laundry.

Then we gave her a concert!

Max is such a cheeseball!

He likes me to take him for rides.

I know Mason looks a bit scared, but we take good care of him! :)

Mason's first time in the bumbo.

He is getting so big!

All of the Mitchell men.

This was my bumbo once. Just making sure I still fit!

Lazy days around the house are fun.

It's Like I Went Back In Time...

...to a place that I thought was cool, but I wouldn't wan to live there! We went to the dinosaur exhibit at the Witte Museum. It was pretty neat! You could make the dinosaurs roar and move!

Doesn't it look like that dinosaur is about to eat Mommy's head?

Here we could dig for fossils.

Max just liked to kick up the sand

Look, every now and then we even manage to get a picture with Mommy in it!

The Witte Museum had lots more cool stuff in addition to the dinosaurs. Here's a REAL buffalo!

And we got to play in this tree house kid area that was so cool!

Max liked making Daddy pull him up in this chair.

I found puppets!

This should not shock anyone...Max found drums! :)

I joined in on the drum action.

Check out this tree house! Can you find us?

Yep, here we are!

They also had this cool waterworks exhibit where we could do fun stuff with water.

Mommy, Mason and Maxer.

The Witte is pretty awesome!
