Gooooo Patriots

This weekend was my first t-ball game. I play on the Patriots team. We had a double header in Canton. It was pretty fun. Here are some pictures...

Max wanted to play on the team, but you have to be 4. So he came and cheered.

Miles' Bedtime Bible Commentary: Why Doesn't Jesus Just Heal Mason?

A few nights ago we read the story of a man who couldn't walk. His friends lowered him into the roof of the house where Jesus was so he could see Jesus.

And Jesus healed him so he could walk.

I told Mommy that Jesus could heal me if I got hurt and couldn't walk. Then I said he could heal Maxer and Daddy and Mommy if they got hurt and couldn't walk at some point. I thought about it for a minute, and you know what? Mason can't walk. So I asked Mommy "Mommy, why doesn't Jesus heal Mason and make him walk?" Makes sense doesn't it? Apparently, Jesus heard me though because on Sunday Mason started pulling up on everything. Jesus is so cool.

School's...Out...For...Summer

Today was my program at pre-school. I love my pre-school. My teacher, Ms. Renia, is awesome. I'm going to go to their summer program so it was not too sad for me today. Our end of the year program was called "Disco Daze." Like at our Christmas program, we sang songs and danced. It was so fun!

And most importantly, I was dressed as....

you guessed it. 70's Elvis! Remember this? This costume got one more wear out of it.

I shook my groove thing and stole the show.

Here I am hugging Ms. Renia.

And Ms. Caroline.

I Love My Mama

Yesterday was Mother's Day. We had a nice day. Daddy brought Mommy flowers, and we all got her cards. I wrote my name (she really likes that). Here we are right after church. Happy Mother's Day Mommy.

Adios Tonsils

Maxer had his tonsils out last week. I had mine out when I was Max's age too. I have to say, he was a champ!

Here he is right before surgery. Sorry for the poor quality pictures. Mommy took Max for pre-op while Daddy got Mason and me to school so she did not lug her camera to the hospital (these are camera phone pics).

Right after surgery. He was still pretty loopy.

Later that same day, Max's super awesome nurse scored him a tour of the ETMC helicopter. How cool is that?

Future pilot

He is ready to roll (or fly as it were).

The next morning, Dr. C checked in on Max and let him go home. (Forget the
ice cream and popcicles, Max had pizza and french fries in the hospital).

He took it easy for a day or so, but he was his usual self in no time. Here we are taking our wheels for a spin to the nearby playground.

The Bank In Action

I told you about our cool new bank a while ago. Well, here is a clip of our bank in action.

As you can see, we are really enjoying it.

Celebrating The First Day Of The Rest Of His Life

I posted here about Mason's birthday, but I wanted to give you the whole picture. Around here, we take our time with birthdays. We spread them out and share them with the WHOLE family. Until you get to be a big boy--like me--birthdays are strictly a family affair. But don't worry, Mason comes from two pretty enormous families so he did okay on the celebration front this year.

First, we celebrated with Mommy's side of the family over Easter.

Here is cake #1. Mammaw (grandma-the-great) got this one for us and she got a sweet picture cake. Isn't Mason just a cutie patootie? He was delicious :)

A little "happy birthday to you" then it was time for cake.

Mason was not too sure about it at first.

But once he got a bite down...

...it was on!

He had it all figured out then.

Flirting with Aunt Monica.

Oh yea, get it all in the crevaces.

"Who wants a hug?"

Next, we had his birthday celebration on his birthday weekend with Daddy's family.

Here is cake #2. Mason had his one year photos the morning of his birthday so this cake made an appearance.

cheese! He got his very own smash cake for the pictures.

Mommy says Mason looks like he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar in this picture. It is a rare photo where he is not smiling, but believe me when I tell you that he was happy with all of that cake. :)

Later we had Mason's party at Mimi and Pepaw's house. Again, a party with just the cousins equals a party of 8!

We all helped Mason open his presents.

He loved this little book. And it can go in the bath tub. We like anything that can go in the bath tub.

A little more "Happy Birthday to You" and...

...bring on the cake!

Mason was quite proficient at eating cake by himself at this point, but he wanted Mommy to feed him her cake (at which point it became his cake).

Happy Birthday Baby Brother!
