6 Christmases

You might have seen the movie 4 Christmases recently.  Well, Mommy and Daddy both come from pretty big families, so we top that movie with SIX Christmases! (For those of you keeping track, there's Mimi's side, Pepaw's side, Mimi & Pepaw's Christmas. Then Mammaw's Christmas, Granny's Christmas and the Christmas morning Christmas.)

So we started with Christmas #1 last weekend, Mimi's side (or the Smith Christmas).  It's usually in Nacogdoches (how many 5 year olds can spell that huh???).  Since there are quite a few cousins, we reserved the multi-purpose facility at a local church.  It was SO fun!

Of course, we got to hang out with Mimi and Pepaw.

and our cousins

We also got to do fun stuff like play pool

and ping pong

and have fun gym time

it was a blast.  We could run and be loud and nobody cared!

And...since Mommy's never in front of the camera, here's a shot of her and Maddox for ya.

The neat thing about this Christmas is, there are no presents.  That's right, I said neat and there's no gift exchange.  Christmas spending can get out of hand sometimes (especially when you have a big extended family).  So this Christmas celebration is just a time for food, fun, fellowship, and remembering the reason for the season.
