Christmas Twenty-Ten

Time for photos folks! I had a GREAT Christmas! This was the first year I really got excited about it all. There were things on my Christmas list (oh boy were there), and I was so excited to leave cookies for Santa and celebrate Jesus' birthday! We had an eventful Christmas. Here's a recap.

A few days before Christmas, Mason actually had to be admitted to the hospital. He has asthma like me and Max, but he also got pneumonia and parainfluenza 3. He was still all smiles though.

While Mason was in the hospital, we did Christmas with Mimi and Pepaw. Daddy and Mason missed it so we were kind of sad. I managed to keep Max from opening all of their presents until Mason came home. Christmas with my cousins was still really fun though!

Stocking time

Maxer really got the hang of opening presents.

I got "Evil Dr. Porkchop!" (definitely on the list!)

Uncle Toby helped us get our presents out of the box so Mommy could keep taking pictures.

Max got Dance Star Mickey (definitely on HIS list!)

Mimi got all of the boys Criss Cross Crash to stay at her house

We had a great time with that game.

Mason came home after 5 days in the hospital, and it was time to head to Granny and Pop's in South Texas. We were so excited to see Granny and Pop.

We missed "Mammaw's Christmas" since Mason was in the hospital. So we got to open presents as soon as we got to Granny and Pop's! I got the Imaginext Spaceship (on the list!) and I was SOOOOO excited.

I showed Maxer how it works.
Then, we put out cookies for Santa. It wasn't really Christmas Eve, but we pretended it was. Mommy said that Santa knew we wanted for him to wait until the whole family was together to bring us our presents. So he did and we were his ONLY delivery that night! Isn't that special?
The next morning we woke up to.....PRESENTS! And lots of them. I was so so so excited about my Batman castle. See...

Max just wanted to "open" everything (meaning take it out of the package).

I let him play with the Joker castle too.

Mommy and Daddy made sure they kept Mason well and out of the hospital.
Cheese! Mommy has us training early.

I got a Leapster too. This has been a very exciting toy for me. I like all of the learning games.

Mason had fun with his new toys too.

Look- we caught Mommy in FRONT of the camera! :)

Mommy and Mason enjoying the sock monkey from Mimi.

Mason and Uncle Justin (He's so funny!)

Mason's First Christmas. Isn't he cute?

I like Granny and Pop's train.

Enjoying our new stuff!

Even though we did not celebrate Christmas on the actual day, we remembered that being with family and being thankful for Jesus is really what the season is all about. It was great!

Get Wrapped Buddy

So as you may have seen, my littlest bro has to wear a helmet for a few months. It's not a hideable thing, but thankfully this great group "wrapped" it for free for him. This amazing organization, called wrapbuddies, wraps kids' prosthetics and other medical equipment for free so it's more fun for the kids.
When Mason went to his wrap party to get his helmet done, a Dallas news station was there to do a story. Mason and Daddy made the clip. Here's the link:

Check out the story. THANK YOU wrapbuddies. You made Mason's helmet look awesome.

Tis the Season

I love this time of year. Everyone is happy and we get to celebrate Jesus' birthday! Here are some pics from the last few weeks.

We decorated our tree in our new house.

This was Max's first year to help hang ornaments so I showed him how.

When we were done, our tree looked beautiful!

Then Mommy hung ornaments in the places we couldn't reach!

Look at all of our stockings! We sure are a growing family.

We even got a few early presents! Thanks Aunt Kim and Uncle AJ.

Maxer was in his first Christmas program.

I know he looks like a cone head, but he was a candle. :)

I starred (I mean performed) in my Christmas program too! And I got to stand right next to my cousin, Gaven.

Don't we look like we're up to something?

Mason has to wear this little helmet for a couple of months. He got it wrapped to look like the Dallas Cowboys' stuff. Isn't he cute?

Mason and the Van Vandal.

Here we are at Friday family movie night. We've been watching some great ones lately. Last night we watched Frosty. It was good (and the popcorn was even better!)

Merry Christmas!

Ho Ho Ho

We went to see Santa the other day! Mommy said we all did a good job smiling for the picture. Then I told Santa that I wanted: A Heroes of the Imanginex Space ship and Batman and Joker castles! Max said he wanted "balls" Mason just smiled, but I think Santa knows what to get babies since they can't talk. :)

Merry Christmas! ~Miles

Orange You Glad We Went To Granny and Pop's?

Granny and Pop have an orange tree at their house. And it had LOTS of oranges on it. So we got to pick them!

Picking picking...

I'm a pro!

Max helped too

Working hard

We took a break to cook lunch for Aunt Monica in the play house.
We got to take a boat load of oranges home and we have been eating them everyday!

Deer Lease

When we were at Granny and Pop's house, we got to go to one of our favorite places: the deer lease!

Family pic

Riding on the mule with Granny and Pop. This is our favorite part!

Mommy's favorite picture

Daddy and Mason

Don't tell Maxer that it's a fake deer. He really liked it!

I helped Max find all of the cool stuff at the deer lease.
Pop and Mason. Doesn't Mason look like Pop?

Exploring with Pop.

Check out my mad balancing skills.

Maxer

It was so fun!

Dirt and cammo, it doesn't much better than that!

Exploring with Granny

We even got to see this BIG aligator!
Great trip to the deer lease. I hope we get to go back at Christmas!

Turkey Day

Sorry I'm a bit behind on my posting. The holidays are such a fun and busy time! Here are pictures from our trip to Victoria to see Granny and Pop for Thanksgiving.

We all piled on Pop's lap. :)

Gig 'em Aggies!

We had one more party for Max. He really likes Yo Gabba Gabba right now.

Craft time

Mommy caught us doing one of our favorite things the other day- crafts! I am really in to water colors right now. Max is just figuring out regular colors, so he really likes those too!

PJ craft mornings are the best!

Nutty boys

We have lots of pecans in our yard right now (or "acans" as Max calls them). Look at our loot! We even gathered up one cute baby brother. :)
