Cake Pops

Ever heard of a cake pop? If not, you're missing out! Mommy brought us surprise cake pops tonight and can I say YUMMY!!!! Mommy's in trial this week, so she is a bit busy, but we all enjoyed a little cake pop break.

Max LOVES cake...and lollipops...and any combination of the two.

I'm saving mine for tomorrow :)

Miles' Bedtime Bible Commentary: THE Story

For the last few nights, Mommy has been reading the story of Jesus' death and resurrection. She read it to us several times because it is a pretty important story. Tonight we moved on to the next story, but before we did, Mommy asked me if I could tell her what happened in this story. So, I told her "flip to the beginning and I will tell you what happened."

Men with swords (but not very big ones) came to get Jesus. They took him to the "emporer", but the "emporer" said "he has done nothing wrong" but they said "kill him" anyway.

So they nailed Jesus to the cross and he died. (Insert dialogue here about Heaven...where our dog, Maverick, is).

Mommy asked me what happened next and I said "they caved him up" :) Yes they did. But then they rolled the stone from the cave and Jesus was ALIVE! (Insert dialogue here about how that's not going to happen with Maverick).
