Miles' Bedtime Bible Commentary: A Grand Finale

Tonight we finished reading the Bible. Mommy has read these stories to us lots of times, but this is the first time we have read it from start to finish. We started reading on March 16. So, it only took about a month to read the WHOLE thing (Candle version anyway).

We finished with the story of how Jesus' friends wrote down their stories about Jesus so that we could all read about Him and learn.

And on a final note...this story has a happy ending. Jesus LIVES happily ever after. I love a good ending.

Mommy asked me what my favorite story in the Bible was. I have many favorites, but she has caught me reading this one out loud to Max lately, so she wasn't surprised when I picked it:

I like the story where Moses tells the Pharoh "Let my people go!"

The Pharoh said "no" so God sent lots of frogs. and flies... "and crickets and rain clouds"

Pharoh let the people go, but then changed his mind. Pharoh sent soldiers to get the people. God parted the water for the people, but then closed it up so the soldiers couldnt' get them. Good story! (and currently my favorite).

Mommy thought we might enjoy a NEW Bible! This one has a little bit longer stories she said. I was so excited, I begged her to read us one story tonight, but she said we would have to wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow then! I'm ready to begin again.
